We came to Mojácar for our anniversary and we had not been away together for six years so we wanted it to be special. The place we started out in did not have a pool and we soon realised that was a big no no here.
I booked our apartment from booking.com at short notice and we waited a few days to move.
We moved in quite early in the morning as we had arranged to pre-view the apartment and were kindly told we could on this occasion. One of the ladies was setting up for check-in the day before.
The apartment was lovely!
Exactly the same as in the photos. Nothing misleading or different and no let downs or surprises.
Large, open, light, and modern with excellent fixtures, features and furnishings.
The place was SUPERBLY provisioned. I’ve never seen anything like it in this particular regard. There was everything we could need and then some. I won’t make a list of all the things they provided because it would be longer than the rest of this review, but put it this way: You could have moved into this place with just a suitcase full of clothes and lived here.
The kitchen had pretty much everything we have at home. There were complimentary items in the cupboards. Water, concentrated soft drinks, tea, coffee, olives and much more.
All the condiments you could ever need to cook meals, short of specialist dishes. The cutlery, utensils, crockery and cookware were extensive and good quality.
The refrigerator was large, clean and very good.
The washing machine was fully functional, practical and clean. (Washing tabs supplied) Amazing!
The beds were comfortable enough, the bedding was good quality. There was loads of drawer and wardrobe space.
The bathroom was very clean, tidy and practical with a large marble effect washbasin and a mirror with vanity lighting.
The water pressure was adequate for the shower and the hot water worked well. A small bathtub but we very rarely take an actual bath so that was fine.
The living room: The large couch was nice and fairly comfortable. Loads of very tasteful paintings and other decor throughout.
We don’t watch TV but we switched it on to check it worked. It works fine.
There is a good quality router and reliable Wi-Fi.
There was very adequate air-con units in the apartment, three in all. There are also very good ceiling fans for when you want to have the balcony doors or windows open.
The balcony: Very large. It runs the entire length of the apartment and is very spacious with a stunning view over the buildings and play park below, then over the beach and ocean.
Several seating options, a large dining table and good quality sunbathing recliners. Outside lighting, three washing lines, anti bug candle holders, a roofed storage area and bamboo shading overhead. Fully tiled floor with loads of lovely and healthy plants in nice pots.
The pool: A shared fairly large pool, starting at 1.2M at one end and going to just over 2M at the deeper end. Well kept, filtered, pumped and cleaned. Multiple shower points at the poolside.
In June, the building casts a shadow over the pool from about 16:00 so best used morning to early afternoon.
I could go on like this for some time but you get the general picture. Very good all around and with exceptional attention to detail.
This place has had love poured into it.

We kept finding extra surprises!
A cool bag.
A blender.
A hair dryer.
A hoover.
Heaters. (As if 😂)
Beach umbrellas.
BINOCULARS!!!
etc etc etc

I said I wasn’t going to start listing everything didn’t I?
Well we were very impressed, it has to be said.
Outstanding value for a mid-price holiday apartment.
It also needs to be mentioned that Kelli and Heather were both excellent communicators. Check-in was stress-free and straightforward.
I received several messages asking if everything was satisfactory.
